Chef Gordon Ramsay news reported that the "Masterchef" star has settled his 15-year feud with his former mentor turned rival, Marco Pierre White.
According to a report from Daily Mail, the culinary master turned reality star reached out in time for the 25th anniversary of Marco Pierre White's cookbook, which is entitled White Heat.
The silver anniversary of Chef Marco Pierre White's cookbook was celebrated at Chelsea's Little Black Gallery. Chef Gordon Ramsay was not present at the actual event as he was in Los Angeles taping one of his many reality series.
However, Chef Gordon Ramsay reportedly called the gallery to purchase one of the prints of Chef Marco Pierre White. It was said to be worth £2,900 and was photographed by Bob Carlos Clarke.
As a result of Chef Gordon Ramsay's supposed peace offering, Chef Marco Pierre White wrote a note at the back of the print.
"For the Ram, with love from the Bull. X," Chef Marco Pierre White wrote.
The two's feud began in the 1990s when a young Gordon Ramsay said that his mentor was a good chef, but not a good restaurateur.
The reality star and a film crew also allegedly gatecrashed Marco Pierre White's wedding to his third wife.
The reservations book from London restaurant Aubergine was also reportedly stolen by Chef Gordon Ramsay, who later on admitted that he only did so after learning that Marco Pierre White was supposedly after his job.
Now, Daily Mail reports that the two culinary masters appear to be ready to put their 15-year feud behind them.
"For years they didn't speak," said an insider close to Marco Pierre White.
"But Gordon has contributed a quote to White Heat 25 and they are back on friendly terms. Not very friendly, but friendly."
"It's a start, and only a matter of time before they are properly reunited over a long lunch," the source added.
