After months of showcasing her adorable baby bump on Instagram, Liv Tyler finally welcomed her second son last Wednesday! And there's nobody more emotional (apart from the proud parents) than "The Leftovers" star's famous rock star dad.
When Aerosmith frontman Stephen Tyler learned that his daughter was giving birth a few weeks ahead of schedule, he reportedly "immediately dropped everything and went to the airport to get on the next available flight" but not before "crying like a baby."
He was just in time, too. He continued, in his Facebook post, that his second daughter, Mia, was the one who kept on updating him about the situation.
"HURRY THE BABY IS COMING!" Tyler's daughter with actress and model Cyrinda Foxe, told her dad along with minute-by-minute updates of her sister's birth.
"I made it RIGHT in time before my second grandson entered this world," the rock and roll legend added. "It was another (God wink) moment of a lifetime for me."
"Love is love is love reflected ANOTHER @LivTyler MOMENT (GOD WINKED AGAIN)...so proud of my Alpha Pup," he posted on Twitter.
"Proud to be there to welcome the new pup into the pack. What a family we are," Mia captioned the same adorable shot.
The new mother was also looking very healthy in the photo.
"He's healthy and everyone is very happy," People quoted a source as saying, despite Liv Tyler's second son having to spend a little more time at the hospital after being born six weeks early.
This is the "Lord Of The Rings" star's first child with boyfriend and producer, David Gardner. She has a ten-year-old son named Milo whom she had with her ex-husband Royston Langdon. Gardner, on the other hand, has a seven-year-old son Gray from his ex-wife Davinia Taylor.
