Will magicians be involved in "American Horror Story" season 5? That seems to be the direction that the series is heading towards, according to the latest spoilers. Meanwhile, the cast will join PaleyFest next month.

In a report from Movie Pilot, Ryan Murphy gave the hint when he said that all the "American Horror Story" themes from one to four are all linked together.

"They're all connected," he said. "They're all very separate but there's clues every season... There are purposeful connections, character connections, and similarities and things that connect that we'll continue to connect moving forward."

For season 5, Ryan Murphy dropped some spoilers as he revealed that the showing of the top hot image in season four wasn't no accident.

"That is a big season five clue! It's an arcane clue, but it's very purposeful, and it illuminates something that you'll be like, 'Oh! You dirty b******!'" he said.

But Movie Pilot said there's another plausible theory, and that is the "top hat" refers to the highly classified experiments conducted by the US Army Chemical Corps during the 1950s, or maybe even aliens.

"Ryan Murphy has ruled out an 'American Horror Story' in Space," the article noted. "But that doesn't mean the space couldn't come to us, perhaps in the form of a UFO crash landing and a government cover up much like Area 51? The Operation Top Hat and Extraterrestrial theory is one that looks like quite solid!"

Meanwhile, Cartermatt noted that that the cast of "American Horror Story" season 4 will be heading off to PaleyFeste in March.

Those who confirmed to join the event on March 15 are "Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Michael Chiklis, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Denis O'Hare, and Finn Wittrock."

Watch out for more "American Horror Story" season 5 spoilers which will be published as they come along.
