Many fans are wondering what it will be like if Spider-Man joins The Avengers. One thing is for sure - it will be awesome!
Just recently, Screen Crush released a Marvel movie mashup that featured the Earth's Mightiest Heroes and the web-slinging superhero.
The website merged some scenes from the first "Avengers" movie and the second installment of the "Amazing Spider-Man." Both were shot in New York City which made it appear as if they are really together fighting one enemy.
The video titled "The Avengers featuring Spider-Man" was uploaded on YouTube and it now has more than 700,000 views on its third day of release.
The Marvel movie mashup clip was edited by The Sleepy Skunk exclusively for Screen Crush. The opening scene was quite funny because Spider-Man interrupted the conversation of Captain America, Black Widow, Thor and Hawkeye when he opened his megaphone. That was followed by exciting action scenes from the Marvel superheroes.
Ever since Marvel and Sony announced their tie-up, fans can't wait to see the movie of The Avengers and Spider-Man together. There were rumors that we may see a cameo of Peter Parker in the upcoming "Avengers: Age of Ultron" or the superhero could be shown in the post-credits of the movie. However, there's still no confirmation from the producers.
What we can expect though is another "Spider-Man" movie as reported by Marvel.com.
"We always want to collaborate with the best and most successful filmmakers to grow our franchises and develop our characters. Marvel, Kevin Feige and Amy, who helped orchestrate this deal, are the perfect team to help produce the next chapter of Spider-Man," said Sony CEO Michael Lynton
Marvel President shared the same sentiments and there are reports of a possibility that some of the Avengers could appear in the next installment of the popular film franchise.
"I am thrilled to team with my friends at Sony Pictures along with Amy Pascal to produce the next Spider-Man movie," said Kevin Feige.
Would Andrew Garfield reprise his role as Peter Parker or will he be replaced by another actor? According to The Daily Beast, Garfield had discussions about continuing his involvement in the new Spidey venture, but ultimately it didn't make sense to keep him for what will be a new chapter for Spider-Man.
Before the actor gets replaced, enjoy this movie mashup of "The Avengers" and "Spider-Man."
