Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill are rumored to be dating, but it seems the two may be doing more than that.
After performing together in New York at the Copacabana club for NBA All-Star Weekend, the two will reportedly be heading to Charlotte, N.C. later this month to do another gig together, according to the website The BoomBox.
Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill will reportedly be performing their collaboration “Buy A Heart,” from Minaj’s recent album “The Pinkprint.”
Whether Minaj and Mill are actually dating has yet to be confirmed.
“Sometimes we hang out, and when we hang out, we have fun,” the “Super Bass” rapper stated during an interview with Vogue.
She added, “This is what I want to say about him: People think for some strange reason that we just started becoming friends recently. We’ve been friends for a very, very long time, and he’s been around for a lot of things that I’ve gone through. And that’s all I’ll say about that.”
Aside from the dating rumors that have surrounded the female rap sensation, Nicki Minaj has been getting a lot of attention for “The Pinkprint.”
“I’ve gotten such great feedback that it’s only really inspired me to do more music. I never connected with people on this level,” explained Minaj.
She continued, “I think ‘Pinkprint’ opened me up to so many more people who probably didn’t understand me before — it’s just such a real album that anyone who has ever gone through any kind of relationship issue can understand.”
Despite being inspired to write more music, fans will be sad to know that Minaj doesn’t see herself doing this much farther down the line.
“There’s a level of criticism that comes with being a musician in today’s world, especially with social media, that I don’t want be part of when I’m 50 years old,” explained Minaj.
She added, “I love my fans, but I think at one point in my life. I’ll be okay with just walking away.”
