Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, reportedly remains at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta after she was found unconscious in her bathtub on January 31, according to People.
Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, who reportedly found the 21-year-old in her home, has finally spoken on the rumors that he is pursuing legal action against his girlfriend’s family amidst reports that he is being barred from seeing her, according to the Washington Post.
“In response to the reports that Nick Gordon is taking legal action, he would like it to be clear, he is not,” stated Gordon’s attorney Randy Kessler in a statement.
He added, “Mr. Gordon’s only concern is the recovery of Bobbi Kristina. He remains in constant prayer for his companions and he hopes to be reunited with her soon. Despite the incredible public interest, we ask and hope that this request can be resolved privately by Mr. Gordon and the family.”
Aside from the reports that Nick Gordon was taking legal action against Bobbi Kristina’s family, there had been false stories that Whitney Houston’s daughter would be taken off life support this week. Bobby Brown’s lawyer Christopher Brown has reportedly stated that these reports are “false.”
Bobbi Kristina’s condition reportedly remains the same.
“There hasn’t been a change in the past week,” a family member reportedly stated on Sunday.
Many reportedly speculated that Bobbi Kristina would be taken off life support on February 11, the day that marks the three-year anniversary of her mother’s death.
“He [Bobby] wants to make a decision based on facts, not on what the public feels that he needs to do,” a relative told People last week.
Police in Rosewell, GA have reportedly continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding Bobbi Kristina Brown’s hospitalization.
“Foul play is being investigated. Including drug use and possibly cover-up to remove evidence from the crime scene,” a family source told People.
