Olivia Pope's dilemma is far from over, new "Scandal" season 4 spoilers reveal.
In the next episode, the gladiators will do all they can to save Olivia, and a shocking revelation will be made regarding the auction's highest bidder. According to the episode's synopsis, "As the bidding for Olivia Pope continues, the gladiators fight to save her but The White House fears that they may lose her for good," Carter Matt reported.
A lot of speculation has been made regarding the auction's winner. According to Christian Today, "an important representative from Iraq" could be the highest bidder, while other "Scandal" season 4 spoilers suggest that it will be a familiar character to fans of the show.
According to International Business Times, Stephen Finch, played by Henry Ian Cusic, could make his return to the series after making an abrupt exit after season 1, and could be in fact Olivia's new "owner."
"'Scandal' fans that have been with the show since Season 1 are very familiar with Stephen. He was one of Olivia's gladiators and a senior associate at the firm. Stephen was known for sleeping around town, but developed a serious relationship with a woman named Georgia," IBT noted.
Darby Stanchfield who plays Abby on the show, also made a teasing statement about a season 1 character's return that will blow everyone's mind.
"There is the most freakin' hugest surprise that happens in the next four episodes that the original Gladiators are going to freak out over," Stanchfield said. "The only clue I can give you is that fans of the first season are going to lose their minds."
