Viewers of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” have been following cast member Yolanda Foster’s ongoing battle with Lyme Disease.

The former model has continued her struggle to find a cure, reportedly stating that she would be willing to eat bark for three months if it could allow her to be free of Lyme disease, according to The Examiner.

The 51-year-old RHOBH star was reportedly diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012.

“I have lost the ability to read, write, or even watch TV, because I can’t process information or any stimulation for that matter,” Foster wrote in a blog post, according to People.

She continued, “It feels like someone came in and confiscated my brain and tied my hands behind my back to just watch and see life go by without me participating in it.”

There has been speculation that Yolanda Foster will be unable to fully participate in the reunion for season 5 of RHOBH due to her condition; however, these rumors have yet to be confirmed as true or false.

“Yolanda does want to do it because she is always so professional about work commitments,” explained a source for Radar Online, according to Music Times.

The insider added, “The main issue with Yolanda’s health is the constant fatigue, and serious memory issues. Recently, Yolanda has had trouble just forming sentences, and sometimes can’t clearly articulate what she is trying to say. Being on the reunion will help raise awareness for Lyme disease and she is determined to find a cure.”

The process of recovery has been long for Yolanda Foster, who has been getting the love and support of her family and RHOBH fans.

“I wasted the first year trying to get diagnosed and spent the next two trying to find a cure,” explained Foster.

She added, “Unfortunately, I was only able to get to about a 60% recovery until I relapsed in early December and have not been able to find my way back. Something doesn't add up here, and I will make it my life mission to figure this out, because nobody deserves to suffer this way in 2015.”
