‘With Dad’ Ad Spot Voted As Favorite Super Bowl Commercial; YouTube AdBlitz Winner Introduces 2016 Nissan Maxima Sports Sedan

The world got the first glimpse of the 2016 Nissan Maxima sports sedan through an ad spot at teh Super Bowl. The 90-second commercial was also voted as the most favorite advertisement in the 2015 YouTube Adblitz award.

"Nissan['s] With Dad commercial follows a race driver's journey through motorsports. It tells a story of a young mother and her son as they follow the father's through the highest levels of motorsports competition and the dangers and difficulties he faces while on the track," Rushlane.com recounted the scene in the commercial dubbed "With Dad."

"In the commercial we saw both parents share equally in the courage, hard work and sacrifice required to keep the family strong - a struggle many people can relate to in their own daily lives," said Fred Diaz, senior vice president of Nissan sales and marketing and operations in the US.

Rushlane.com described how the commercial flashes two new Nissan vehicles including the 2016 Nissan Maxima sports sedan in the tune of Harry Chaplin's "Cat's in the Cradle."

According to thedrum.com, the commercial created by Nissan's advertising agency, TBWAChiatDay Los Angeles received 60 per cent more votes than the previous year's awardee with approximately 40 per cent more voters this year than the last.

Before the ad spot for the 2016 Nissan Maxima sports sedan at the Super Bowl, the automaker released a series of clips teasing the theme of fatherhood. Thedrum.com noted that it was made in collaboration with YouTube content creators encouraging fans to post their own memories relating to fatherhood with the hashtag #WithDad.

Rushlane.com reported that Nissan will be donating $1,000,000 to Habitat for Humanity and Wounded Warrior Project as part of the company's "With Dad" campaign aiming to help in "making lives better and families stronger."

The ad that presented the 2016 Nissan Maxima sports sedan received millions of views since it was first posted on Feb. 1.
