Speculations regarding Gina Carano's MMA return started after she was spotted hitting the gym few weeks ago. But while there's no confirmation whether she steps into the octagon again or not, Henry Cavill's former girlfriend has another movie coming up.
The former "Strikeforce" star joins Bruce Willis in "Extraction" movie as she will display her skills in the upcoming CIA thriller as Victoria, a tough field operative, according to deadline.com,
Reportedly, alongside Gina Carano is "Twilight" star Kellan Lutz who will play the CIA novice agent Harry Turner who sets out to find his kidnapped father. When he learns that the agency has no plasn in saving his father, he moves on his own. Victoria, played by Carano, has been assigned to hunt him down.
"A former CIA operative is kidnapped by a group of terrorists. When his son learns there is no plan for his father to be saved, he launches his own rescue operation," the storyline for "Extraction" from imdb.com stated.
The new movie is co-produced by Tim Sullivan, Brandon Grimes and Gus Furla. Dan Bilzerian of Lone Survivor, Lydia Hull and Tyler Olson also star in the upcoming film. "Rampage," the low-budget debut film of Henry Cavill's ex-girlfriend Gina Carano, was largely praised for its action scenes.
According to Deadline, Steven C. Miller, director of "Submerged" will direct the movie written by Umair Aleem and Max Adams. Production is handled by Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films' Randall Emmett and George Furla and Adam Goldworm.
