It looks like Microsoft has revealed new details for the Surface Pro 4 tablet along with its new price range, software, and a new trade-in promo.
According to TechRadar, the release date of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is set on October 2015 as the website claims that the Windows 10 software will be included in the tablet. However, the Christian Post allegedly claimed that the Surface Pro 4 will launch on July 2015 as it quotes a company source saying,"Microsoft will reveal it on G.D.C., or Game Developers Conference, which is scheduled to be held in San Francisco, C.A. on March 2-6, 2015."
The Fuse Joplin revealed some of the upcoming features and specs for the Surface Pro 4. The Microsoft tablet has the following dimensions of 290 x 201 x 9.1 mm and weighs around 800 grams. The Surface Pro 4 is rumored to have two variants of screen sizes; the first measured at 13 or 14 inches, while the other one is smaller at 8 inches. It will be equipped with an eDP ClearType HD display that can render a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels with a pixel density of 216 ppi.
The Christian Post adds that the Surface Pro 4 will be equipped with an Intel Core M Broadwell processor which has a RAM capacity of 16GB. This means that users can browse the web faster, and playing games will be more impressive due to its graphics and performance. The Surface Pro 4 also comes with an LTE support, and its software is the Windows 10.
The Fuse Joplin reports that the price range of Surface Pro 4 is much higher than its predecessor as the Surface Pro 3 is worth $800 in the market. The Microsoft tablet will be around $1000, while the Christian Post claimed the large variant of the Surface Pro 4 is at $899, while the smaller variant is at $599.
In addition, Microsoft has also revealed a new trade-in promo for its Surface Pro 3. According to Reality Today, Surface Pro 3 will have a trade-in promo, and its price drop is at $100 making it $699. ZDNet further adds that Microsoft has expanded its promo by the end of the month.
The trade-in promo also allows users trade their old Surface Pro models as Microsoft claims it can go higher at $650, and will also include the 64GB Intel Core i3 edition, which was not included in the promo before. The trade-in promo is valid up to March 8 in the United States and Puerto Rico.
