The "Saturday Night Live" season 40 special anniversary show did not fall short of spoofs and goofs. That includes Kanye West who re-created his Grammy antics by pretending to interrupt two personalities during various parts of the show.
The "FourFiveSeconds" artist made fun of his much-talked about Grammy antics on the "SNL" red carpet on Sunday when Kanye West pretended to grab the microphone from the hands of NBC host Matt Lauer as the latter closed the coverage, which would link the video to the live broadcast of the reunion special.
Matt Lauer was saying, "Thank you very much for joining us. The 'Saturday Night Live' 40th anniversary special begins."
Kim Kardashian's husband then grabbed the microphone from him while co-host Savannah Guthrie yelled out his name.
Matt then good-naturedly put his arm around the music personality and asked, "What's happening, man?"
When Savannah asked when the anniversary show would start, Matt pushed Kim Kardashian's husband away and announced, "Right now."
On Feb. 8, Kanye West jumped onstage during the Grammy Awards when Beck was about to say his acceptance speech for the "Album of the Year" award, Mirror reported.
The act was a throwback to Kanye West's 2009 interruption of Taylor Swift's speech during the MTV Video Music Awards when she won for "Crazy in Love."
Mike Myers revisited "Wayne's World," which actually started out as an SNL sketch before being turned into a movie in 1992, and took the moment to make fun of Kanye West's now infamous Grammy antics as well.
Mike, playing Wayne Campbell and Dana Carvey as his beloved sidekick Garth Algar, talked about "Saturday Night Live's" past guest artists which have included Beyonce and Beck.
Dana quipped, "I think Beck was one of the best, even better than Beyonce."
The "Late Registration" rapper stood up during the "Saturday Night Live" season 40 anniversary special in an attempt to interrupt. "Kanye, sit down," Mike Myers barked.
