The OnePlus One Android 5.0 Lollipop release date is confirmed to be released on March 2015.
According to the report of GSM Arena, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei has confirmed that Android 5.0 Lollipop for the OnePlus One handset will be rolled out next month, specifically "mid late March" of this year.
Back in January, the Cyanogen founder Steve Kondik has promised to have a stable version of the CyanogenMod 12 for Lollipop that will arrive this month.
The Techno Buffalo said that the co-founder of OnePlus One Pei wrote on Twitter that the company is in the final stretch for the said update. He also added that the reason of the delay of the OnePlus One Android 5.0 Lollipop update is because of certifications, QA, proprietary drivers and code.
The company has still few weeks before they unveil its software as well as their Oxygen OS, which is scheduled to be released next month.
Furthermore, according to Tech Radar, the upcoming CyanogenMod 12S is noteworthy since it is a partnership of Cyanogen and OnePlus.
Moreover, an alpha Lollipop build has been already released but the upcoming OTA is expected to be stable, as Android And Me reported. The release date has not been specified but Pei assured and estimated that the two ROMs will be available during mid to late March of this year.
Meanwhile, the successor of OnePlus One smartphone, which is the OnePlus Two, is rumored to be unveiled on April. The Master Herald wrote that though it is too early to produce new handset, reports says that it is possible if the company is aiming for an annual release of their flagship.
