It looks like Apple has revealed new details on its new smartphone - the iPhone 6S - regarding its release date and new features.
According to Venture Capital Post, the Apple iPhone 6S will launch on Sept. 8, along with new information regarding its new features and specs; however, the Fuse Joplin reportedly claimed that the iPhone 6S will be released in April, along with the new Apple Watch, while reports from Expert Reviews say that it will launch on Sept. 18 due to Apple's release date patterns. So far, Apple has not issued a statement regarding these release dates on the Apple iPhone 6S.
The Fuse Joplin has reported the new features present in the iPhone 6S. The iPhone 6S will have a 4.7 inch screen, which is similar to its predecessor the iPhone 6, however, several rumors claim that the iPhone 6S screen will have a wrap around edges similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.
Apple smartphone will have sidewall displays that extends towards its sides, which will offer interactive portions that are touch sensitive. It also has access to sliding and unlocking features, message readouts, music controls, caller ID and system controls.
According to Expert Reviews (via 9to5Mac), the iPhone 6S will receive a new Touch ID fingerprint as Apple will be shipping new 262m Touch ID sensors this year. The website claims that the new Touch ID sensor will be reliable than previews sensor, offering new users a better experience.
"We think the new iPhone, expected to launch in 3Q15, will be equipped with an upgraded Touch ID module, with which Apple (US) intends to offer a better and safer Apple Pay user experience with reduced reading errors," the website reports.
The Venture Capital Post adds that the Apple device is equipped with a 20MP camera that will trump the 8MP cameras of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. The camera will also have DSLR-quality photos replacing the True Tone flash technology used in previews iPhone models.
KnowYourMobile reports the iPhone 6S will have the Apple A9 chipset which will run faster and consumes less battery power. In addition, it will be equipped with a LPDDR4 RAM which can reach 2GB or possibly more.
Finally, the iPhone 6S will have a joystick feature located on the home button of the handset, which lets users enjoy playing video games in the iOS similar to an actual game controller, The Fuse Joplin reports.
