Jamie Dornan's Wife Makes Him Quit 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Sequel Over Sex Scenes With Dakota Johnson? 'The Fall' Actor Blames Co-Star For Lack Of Chemistry

Jamie Dornan will not be reprising his role as Christian Grey in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequels. Despite the box-office success of film, the actor refuses to do the sequel because his wife was "unhappy" with him doing explicit sex scenes with Dakota Johnson.

According to Australian magazine NW, Jamie Dornan turned down the sequel because his wife, Amelia Warner, was uncomfortable with the raunchy sex scenes.

"Jamie said the movie would skyrocket his career. He tried to assure Amelia nothing would change but women all over the world now lust after Jamie. She hasn't seen the film and I don't think she will to be honest," the article said.

It did not help that Jamie Dornan has been slammed by critics for his dreary performance in the movie. It has also been reported that the actor and co-star Dakota Johnson struggled to find chemistry on set.

"Jamie does not think his performance was bad - instead he blames Dakota and says it wasn't possible to have chemistry with her. He says Dakota gave him nothing to work with," the source alleged.

The "Fifty Shades of Grey" franchise is definitely having difficulties especially with recent reports that EL James, who wrote the trilogy, and director Sam Taylor-Johnson were both pulling out of the sequels.

"Sam won't be back for the Fifty Shades sequels. She wants out and Universal knows that's the right decision. Her relationship with Erika has become absolutely toxic - they despise each other and blame each other for the problems with the film," a source told The Sun, via Daily Mail.

The source added that most of the conflict stemmed from EL James' wishes for the films to be as explicit as the way she wrote it in the erotic novel. The author was reportedly unhappy with how the first installment of the franchise panned out and has expressed interest in writing the full script for the sequel, "Fifty Shades Darker."
