It looks NetherRealm Studios will reveal new game details for "Mortal Kombat X," which includes five characters rumored to join the roster and information regarding the online gameplay.
According to VG 24/7, the online features of "Mortal Kombat X" will require gamers to have a PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live subscriptions, after rumors that the game will not require any sort of subscriptions on the two gaming consoles.
"Mortal Kombat X" producer Shaun Himmerick has explain the confusion surrounding the rumors as he clarified that there would be no console exclusive content in the game.
VG 24/7 adds that Shaun Himmerick has deleted the misleading tweets regarding "Mortal Kombat X's" online gameplay subscription.
Meanwhile, several rumors are making rounds about five "Klassic" Mortal Kombat characters that are hined to join the roster.
According to Gamerant, NetherRealm Studios will have another live stream for "Mortal Kombat X" as it might feature the "Brutality" finishers and a new character.
The live stream will start at 4pm Eastern/1pm Pacific on Thursday, Feb. 26 and users can watch it on the Twitch Channel. As for the new character, VG 24/7 claims that this fighter could be Kitana's clone, Mileena.
Attack of The Fanboy reports that Liu Kang and Kenshi will also appear due to a leaked IMDB cast list, and Noob Saibot plus Rain are being considered to join the game, SHACKNEWS.com reports.
So far the list of "Mortal Kombat X" characters includes Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Kano, Kung Lao, Kitana, Reptile, Quan Chi, Kitanna, and Goro D'Vorah. The game will also introduce new faces such as Cassie Cage, Ferra/Torr, and Kotal Kahn.
"Mortal Kombat X" will be released on April 14 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and for the PC.
