"The Voice" coach Christina Aguilera appeared in "Late Night With Seth Meyers" to promote the new season of the singing competition. Inevitably, Seth Meyers brought back how she mimicked "Sex and the City's" Samantha Jones during her hosting stint in "Saturday Night Live" in 2004.
"You did something I still remember, because when we were sort of talking about the SNL 40th, one of the things we were talking about were great impressions... You did an incredible Kim Cattrall in 'Sex and the City,'" Meyers said as reported in US Magazine.
"It was one that, at the table, I would call a gasp moment, where everybody's like, 'Oh, s--t!'" He added.
Reportedly, "The Voice" coach put on Samantha Jones' trademark "deep voice and exaggerated intonation."
"I was obsessed with the show at the time," Aguilera said repeating a punchline from the original SNL skit, adding "I'm a dude."
Christina Aguilera is "hoping this friendship-plus her upcoming role on Nashville" will add some positive impact on "The Voice."
"I'll have something under my belt to get certain steals for these country artists," she said. "I"ll be like I'm actually on the show Nashville, recording in Nashville..."
Aside from Samantha Jones, E! Online revealed that Christina Aguilera admires Miranda Lambert.
"Miranda is no joke," Christina said. "She's awesome. I've become such a huge fan of Miranda Lambert, though. Honestly, if I was a country singer I'd probably be her. She's awesome. She's really awesome. I've got to give her kudos!"
Christina Aguilera, putting on her "The Voice" coach role, also revealed why Blake Shelton keeps on winning in the show.
"He was like, 'I just give up this year,'" said Christina. "He goes 'I had three chances to win [3 artists competing in the finals], and Blake had one, and he just overtook it!"
