A new season of "American Horror Story" is in the works and it will be called "Hotel" this time. Lady Gaga is checking in the hotel after recently flooring everyone with her Academy Awards' performance just last weekend.
Lady Gaga has announced on her Twitter account that she will be starring in "American Horror Story: Hotel."
She tweeted, "Make your reservation now. #GagaAHSHotel."
And no, she will not be guest starring in the show but she will be a series regular! Could it be that Gaga is changing career paths? After all, she had a few acting gigs in the past such as her cameos in "Men in Black III" and "The Simpsons." Her role in "AHS" will mark her very first regular acting gig.
But Lady Gaga is no stranger to acting! According to Mirror, Mother Monster has trained in musical theater at New York University.
"I studied piano and then theatre and then dance, so I have this ability to endure long periods of pain. But as a result, when I became an adult at 18, I allowed myself to stay in bad situations as I could take the pain," she said.
“Pop is sort of my medium, the medium that I’m good at. But art was always the thing that drove me forward in these challenging and painful circumstance," Lady Gaga added.
Details about "American Horror Story: Hotel" are still being kept under wraps. In fact, this is the first major detail that has been released so far as well as Ryan Murphy, the creator of the show, has said that clues about the fifth season of his series can be found in "American Horror Story: Freak Show."
"American Horror Story" is known for starring high-profile celebrities and Lady Gaga is the very first for this season.
As for Jessica Lange, who has announced that "Freak Show" would be her last "AHS" appearance, it's reported that Murphy is trying his way around her to make her star for the fifth time in "AHS." So far, no news yet whether the veteran actress will be returning or not.
"American Horror Story: Hotel" with Lady Gaga will premiere in October 2015.
