Teresa Giudice reported to prison earlier this year, leaving her four daughters in the care of her husband, Joe Giudice, who will be serving his 41-month sentence when she returns home.
Now that Teresa Giudice isn’t making money from her various projects, including her cookbooks and appearance on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Joe Giudice is allegedly “desperate” for cash, according to the media outlet FashionNStyle.
“He doesn’t have any money coming in and doesn’t know how he is going to get any money,” a source reportedly told Radar Online.
The insider added, “Without Teresa’s show money they’re not generating any income.”
Months before Teresa had reported to prison, the RHONJ stars had reportedly been looking to sell their New Jersey home, but the mansion has yet to be sold.
"Teresa and Joe have been counting on selling the place and getting money that way, but they haven't had any buyers," the source revealed.
The insider added, "They're really worried that it could go into foreclosure."
Along with having to care for his four daughter, Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana, Joe has reportedly been struggling to generate a steady income.
"Joe knows that he has to start making money, and not on a small level, but a big level. He has a family to support and he has basically hit a brick wall with ideas. Things are really bad for the family right now," the insider explained.
More bad news may be headed toward the Giudice family as the producers of RHONJ may be looking for a new family to appear on the hit Bravo show.
“The network wasn’t happy with last season,” explained a source, according to People.
The insider added, “They want a new vibe with fresh Jersey faces.”
Whether Teresa Giudice has been fired from RHONJ has yet to be confirmed, despite the ongoing rumors.
“Some older faces will for sure come back to keep the viewers happy,” the source stated.
The insider added, “It could get interesting.”
