Ricky Hatton has offered some advice to the Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao on how to beat his opponent Floyd Mayweather Jr.
In an interview at Kugan Cassius of IFL TV the retired British boxer Hatton said that Pacquiao should do the same tactics he did with De La Hoya. "Not like Manny Pacquiao needs some advice, with Freddie Roach in his corner, but if I was in Pacquiao's corner, you know I'd tell him to do the exact same tactics he did against Oscar De La Hoya," he said. "In-out, fast, speed, movement."
Hatton added that Mayweather might be the winner, but Pacquiao has a chance to beat his opponent, with Pacman's speed and movement giving it an edge to Mayweather.
The retired boxer has fought with Pacquiao in 2006, were dubbed by the critics as an "easy victory" over the Filipino, International Business Times reported.
Meanwhile, Pacquiao has started his training in his hometown in General Santos City, Philippines. But fans might not get a chance on watching the fight as the ringside ticket might cost up to £100,000.
Hearn, who runs a Matcroom Boxing, said that fans of Mayweather and Pacquiao might be priced out of seeing the fight. He said that everyone cannot wait to see the two boxer fighting at the boxing ring though he said, "whether I will make the trip - for travelling fans, the tickets will be like gold dust but more expensive," Hearn wrote on in a column for the Daily Mail.
As of this writing, there is no word yet about the ringside ticket of the fight of the century, so fans will have to wait until the organizer release an information about it.
Mayweather and Pacquiao fight will be held at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 2.
