The UFC Ronda Rousey is rooting for Manny Pacquiao against Floyd Mayweather in the upcoming fight of the two on May 2, according to The Washington Post.
"Pacquiao's been very, very nice me, so I'm going to root for him," said Rousey on TMZ (via WP).
Earlier in January, the Filipino boxer recorded a video showing his support to Rousey against its fight with Zingano. The said video has shared by Ronda on Instagram with a caption: "so humbling to hear such kind words from a legend like @emmanuelpacquiao."
Rousey also added that she is eager to watch the most anticipated Pacquiao and Mayweather fight. The 28-year-old said that she needs to beat Cat Zingano to be able to buy the ticket on the upcoming fight of the two.
The SI reported that as of Thursday the cheapest ticket listed on TiqlQ is around $4,175.
UFC 184: Rousey vs Zingano will happen on Saturday, Feb. 28 in Los Angeles, California.
Furthermore, the retired British boxer Ricky Hatton shares some advice to Manny Pacquiao to beat his opponent Mayweather.
In an interview at Kugan Cassius of IFL TV Hatton said that Pacquiao needs to use the same tactics he used during his fight with Oscar De La Hoya. "In-out, fast, speed, movement," he said.
The retired boxer added that Mayweather has a chance to beat Pacquiao but with the movement and the speed of Pacman, the Filipino boxer might win.
Hatton has fought with Pacquiao in 2006, where the said fight was named by the critics as an "easy victory" over Pacman.
Moreover, American boxer Mayweather remains unbeaten in 47 professional fights. On the other hand, Pacquiao, the eight-division world champion, has 57 wins and five losses, reports Realty Today.
The Mayweather and Pacquaio fight is set for May 2 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
