The "Suicide Squad" Cast rumors for Amanda Waller and Margot Robbie have been confirmed. Robocop's Joel Kinnaman, on the other hand, is reportedly all set to play Rick Flag in the DC anti-heroes flick.

The Oscar-nominated and Tony-winning Amanda Waller has finally spoken up about the "Suicide Squad" cast rumors. On Sunday's red carpet of the Oscars, she told etalk, a Canadian TV program that "yes," she will indeed be flying to Toronto in two month's time to begin filming for the movie.

The "How to Get Away with Murder" star will join the star-studded cast of the David-Ayers directed film which includes Will Smith (Dead Shot), Jared Leto (Joker), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Boomerang) and Cara Delevingne (The Enchantress).

Tom Hardy, who was given the role of Rick Flag, dropped out of the cast last month.

Earlier reports had suggested that the actor was not too happy about the size of his role but the official reason has come out: Tom Hardy's packed schedule.

The "Rocknrolla" star reportedly is busy filming "The Revenant" and is also promoting "Mad Max: Fury Road."

The role of Suicide Squad's leader has now reportedly gone to Joel Kinnaman. According to a report by Den of Geek, the Robocop Reboot star is all set to ink the deal that will have him join the DC Comics super villain squad.

In related reports, Margot Robbie has also reportedly confirmed her role as Harley Quinn on the baddie bonanza. According to an interview with Arizona Central, the "Wolf of Wall Street" actress has "signed 10 years of her life away," suggesting that, like Viola Davis, she has signed a multi-movie contract with the studio.

"[It's] daunting," the Australian actress began. "You don't need to have commitment issues to be frightened by the fact that you might have just signed 10 years of your life away. But with [Harley], it's a character I don't think would ever get boring. Ever. So if they did Suicide Squad One, Two, Three... I would be over the moon about it."

The "Suicide Squad" cast rumors have been pretty much confirmed. This paves the way for the film's production said to begin in the following weeks. The "Suicide Squad" is scheduled to hit cinemas in August 2016.
