A new superhero team is coming to the television screen in 2015, the CW network executives have revealed. The new show is reportedly a spin-off of two of the network's hit offerings, The "Flash TV" series and "Arrow."

The spin-off show featuring the two successful CW shows is said to star villains and "secondary" characters from both series, according to a report by Christian Post. The project has no title as of yet but early reports have named The Atom, who is also known as the scientist named Ray Palmer from "Arrow," to be the feature of the show.

Captain Cold also known as Leonard Snart as well as Firestorm or Martin Stein from "The Flash" TV series will also be joining the cast on the new show. The series is also said to feature other superhero characters from the DC comics who "have never been shown on TV before."

The confirmed cast members for the new CW show are Victor Garber as Firestorm, Wentworth Miller playing the role of Captain Cold and Brandon Routh as The Atom. There is some speculation that Caity Lotz who played the role of the Black Canary in "Arrow," may be joining the cast of the yet unnamed superhero show as well. For what role, however, it is still not known.

DC comic fans are now busy speculating who the other superheroes who will be part of the cast are. Comic Book reports that Vibe, also known as Cisco Ramon, who plays a part in "The Flash" is a possible candidate, given that he does not have his super powers yet.

Another one being speculated on is Killer Frost, who is also on "The Flash" as Caitlyn Snow, and also without her superpowers yet. The other names that are being tossed out are Starman, Captain Atom, S.T.R.I.P.E. and The Question.

The brand new show to be launched this year has creators Andrew Kreisberg, Marc Guggenheim and Greg Berlanti of the "Flash" and "Arrow" behind the production wheel.

Arrow debuted on CW in 2012 and is now on its third season. "The Flash" TV series on the other hand is a younger show, having premiered in 2014. The two shows have a "shared universe" developed by the network which would make it easier for the new superhero series to materialize.
