Looks like Rockstar Games will be finally compensating for making PC gamers wait by postponing the PC release date for "GTA 5" for the third time.
After delaying the game for the third time in a row, Rockstar recently teased gamers with a brand new collection of screens, showcasing some of the detail and refinements that PC player could expect in "Grand Theft Auto V."

TheFuseJoplin points out that it is no secret that Rockstar love to keep things under wrap until the community figures it out themselves. Contrary to releasing the much-awaited game, as promised in March, Rockstar opted to favor console gamers first. In addition, they launched the online heists DLC for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners first for no apparent reason and to rub salt in the wound, the PC launch date for "GTA 5" has been postponed for the third time to April 14.
Apparently, PC players are in for a long wait and this obviously led to many pre-orders being cancelled as players expect Rockstar to even push it to the end of 2015, judging by how it has delayed the much-anticipated "GTA 5" PC release.
Supporting Mods
Rumors making rounds suggest that Rockstar intends to make up for the delay. Citing that some of the gamers believe that this could probably be a really bad port, the developers launched some high resolution screenshots for "GTA 5" to assure PC gamers that the game is indeed in the making and looks better.
The piece of news cannot be easily shoved off for being baseless as it comes from the Reddit community. TheFuseJoplin noted that Reddit is the place renowned for similar in-house speculations that often turn out true in the near future. Even Ubisoft had to make up for "Assassin's Creed Unity" as the game had too many bugs. The mighty Ubisoft rolled out a free game and free DLC to compensate for the trouble players faced.
That said, the same cannot be applied here as PC gamers rather prefer the ability to mod games as it helps them prolong their life and also make the game more interesting.
Rockstar cited the need for more polishing to make the PC version of the game compatible with online heists DLC on the launch date. The edition is slated to come bundled with all the DLCs as well as "GTA" online content. Pre-orders no doubt help you get more in-game cash, however, it's only useful if the game gets launched, as promised.
