Sony has recently unveiled the Xperia M4 Aqua which is now up for pre-order in Germany.

According to GSM Arena, the Amazon is the only retailer who allows to pre-order the device. The Sony Xperia M4 Aqua is priced at €279, which is €20 less than what the company suggested as its recommended retail price.

Interested buyers can choose a black or white color of Sony Xperia M4 Aqua once they have pre-order the said handset. On the other hand, consumers will need to wait for the remaining two color variants, silver and coral, until it becomes available for pre-order on Sony's website,Android Headlines reported.

The Sony Xperia M4 Aqua is an IP68 certified for dust and water resistance. The smartphone will support Cat. 4 LTE networks and reported to have a download speed of 150Mbps.

The Sony Xperia M4 Aqua has a 5.2- inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. The device has 2 GB of RAM, an Adreno 405 GPU and storage variants of 8 and 16 GB respectively, which can be boosted up to 32 GB via memory card.

It is expected that the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua will have a 5MP front-facing camera and a 13MP rear-facing camera that features image stabiliser, full HD video recording, 4x digital zoom, red-eye reduction, Sony Exmor RS for mobile image sensor, auto focus, Geo tagging and more.

The device is equipped with a 2,400 mAh battery, which lasts up to 779 hours when standby while 13 hours and 17 minutes talk time.

No information about the confirmed Sony Xperia M4 Aqua release date yet though, citing multiple reports, the device might be available next month.
