Looks like a good news for the "Avengers" fans as Marvel dropped a new "Avengers: Age of Ultron" trailer on Wednesday, March 4 and the new footage is epic.
According to San Jose Mercury News, the new and apparently final trailer for the much-anticipated sequel to 2012's Marvel's "The Avengers," is the most revealing yet.
The villain Ultron (voiced by James Spader) and his apparent creator explained in the footage a bit about Ultron's origins and the fact that Ultron won't be happy until the human race is wiped out.
ABC News noted a few hidden surprises such as:
Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are Bad!
ABC News had a clue that both heroes are bad in the upcoming eleventh installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and the same is confirmed as in the clip, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen on Ultron's side and not only that, they are seen fighting Captain America and Black Widow. In one scene, the Witch not only compels but also controls Johansson's character. The clip also shows Quiksilver punching Captain America.
However, fans don't need to worry as an overhead shot at the end of the trailer, Avengers can be seen fighting Ultron's forces. In addition, it seems that Scarlet Witch too has a change of heart.
The Hulk and Black Widow Get Close
The trailer also sheds light on what seems to be a blooming romance between the Hulk / Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson). In the Clip, we can see Ruffalo and Johansson cuddle up and are about to kiss.
Iron Man Created Ultron Who Now Wants To Kill All Human
Ultron says in the trailer, "there's only one path to peace, their extinction." The trailer also shows Tony Stark taking responsibility for creating Ultron. In the clip, Stark admits he tried to create a suit of armor around the world but he ended up creating something terrible.
Guys With Claws
In the clip, we can see a shadowy figure with strange looking claws. ABC News notes, it may be Ulysses Klaw or Black Panther who are slated to appear in the film.
The clip also shows Iron Man has Loki's Scepter. He is probably going to fight Ultron with that evil weapon. ABC News noted that the fans may see one of their beloved hero dies in the sequel. What is exciting is the fact that we see an image of Jarvis aka the Vision (Paul Bettany) at the very end as he opens his eyes, apparently after being created.
The Josh Whedon-directed movie is slated to hit theaters May 1.
