Good news Marvel fans as new details and possible spoilers for "Avengers: Age of Ultron" have been revealed, which includes a new trailer, guest characters, and possible infinity stone.
Marvel began streaming the new trailer of the Avengers movie sequel "Avengers: Age Ultron" as the trailer shows several new footage, action-packed fight scenes, and a new character being introduced at the end.
The trailer features the Avengers fighting a new menace named Ultron (James Spader) , and it is revealed that Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) created him through an A.I. program called the "Ultron Program". Ultron has also gathered new allies in the form of the super powered twins Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) in order to fight the Avengers.
The trailer also sees the return of Nick Fury ( Samuel L. Jackson), a possible romance between Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson), and Bruce Banner a.k.a. The Hulk ( Mark Ruffalo), and the first appearance of the Vision (Paul Bettany).
Marvel fans are surely hyped up to see "Avengers 2" in May, but there are several rumors making rounds in the internet surrounding the film.
According to Screenrant Carol Danvers a.k.a "Captain Marvel" is rumored to have a cameo in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" along with T'Challa a.k.a. the Black Panther who is played by Chadwick Boseman.
Marvel's Sorcerer Supreme Doctor Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) is also heavily hinted to appear in the Avengers sequel as reported by ComicBook.com.
Finally, ComicBook.com cited an interesting theory about Paul Bettany's new character The Vision as the website claims that the glowing crystal in his head is a possible infinity stone called the "Soul Gem". In the mainstream comics, Adam Warlock was the one who possessed the soul gem on his forehead rather than Vision.
Could this mean that this version of Vision came to life using the soul gem?
So far three infinity stones have already been confirmed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - The Tesseract (Space Gem), the Aeither (Reality Gem), and the Orb ( Power Gem). ComicBook.com further adds that Loki's scepter in the first Avenger film is rumored to be the Mind Gem and the Time Gem is found in the infinity gaunlet which is worn by Thanos himself in the "Avengers: Infinity War" teaser.
Lucas Siegel of ComicBook.com clarified the whole theory saying, "an infinity stone with the ability to bestow life to a robot fixes multiple problems for the MCU. With Ultron’s shifted origin, Vision’s origin must shift as well. While introducing a brand new character and initiating a personality transfer isn’t too outrageous for the films, it does cause a problem when you’re already introducing Ultron, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, The Vision, and other new supporting cast – it’s just one more person to share screentime. And while cosmic fans may get excited about the possibility of Adam Warlock jumping into the fray later, the meta-narrative of Thanos and the Infinity Stones almost demands a new one to be introduced in Age of Ultron."
"Avengers: Age of Ultron" will hit theaters on May 1, 2015.
