Apple did not release any information about the iOS 8.2 release date but a latest report revealed that the upcoming mobile OS will be released next week.
The BGR reported that the Cupertino-based tech giant will unveil the iOS 8.2 next week as the company has decided to release one more GM, with build number 12D508, to employees and partner carriers for testing.
The site also added that they have an official internal change log with all released notes. It has tons of improvements to Health app such as adding the ability to select the unit of body temperature measurement, height, weight, distance and blood glucose. It also adds privacy setting that enables turning off the tracking of distance, steps and flights climbed.
Also the upcoming iOS 8.2 will fix issues where Health data would not refresh after change data source order, as well as some graphics showed no data values and fixes units for minerals and vitamins.
The OS will also fix an issue that can prevent the users from adding a photo in Medical ID. Also, the Health App will improve stability when dealing with large amount of data and it will have the ability to visualize workout sessions form third-party apps.
As for the stability enhancements, the iOS 8.2 will increase stability of music, mail and flyover maps. It also improves the connectivity with Made for iPhone Hearing Aids and the VoiceOver reliability.
Furthermore, according to Mac Rumors, a number of bug fixes have been made in iOS 8.2, such as the issue on "GMT bug" that causes calendar syncing issues to iPad and iPhone users.
The site also mentioned the iOS 8.2 will include support to Apple upcoming smartwatch ahead of its launch in April.
