Potterheads, check this out. The "Harry Potter" cast just had the cutest reunion ever. Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy, recently posted a photo on his Instagram, making muggle dreams come true. Could this be a hint of an upcoming "Harry Potter" reunion movie?
Over the weekend, Felton posted a photo with her "Harry Potter" co-stars James Phelps (Fred), Bonnie Wright (Ginny) and Rupert Grint (Ron). The actor also revealed that he's willing to return to Hogwarts if JK Rowling decided to continue the franchise.
He captioned the reunion photo, "Kim K stood me up. Outnumbered by 3 Weasleys. Ugh."
In June last year, author J.K. Rowling published a short story about a Hogwart's reunion on Pottermore.com, to the surprise of fans. Seven years after the final book in the "Harry Potter" series have been released, Rowling gave fans an update on their favorite wizards. The update caused quite a stir on "Harry Potter" fans who were eager for a reunion movie.
According to TIME, the story was written from the perspective of Rita Skeeter, gossip writer of Daily Prophet. The post centers around the adult life of Harry, Ron, Hermione and their friends set at the time of the Quidditch World Cup Finals.
If ever Rowling decides to write another book in the "Harry Potter" series, Tom Felton said that he would be more than willing to reprise his role as Draco Malfoy in the reunion movie.
"If she does, I just hope she does it before I'm too old! But the fan base isn't going anywhere, the popularity is gaining, even. More and more people recognize me in the street," he said to Radio Times.
Felton added that although the film had ended several years ago, people would always recognize him as Draco Malfoy.
"I have been booed and hissed a bit, and younger kids did tend to be petrified, but most of them have grown up now. I get requests to say mean things to people and leave nasty phone messages."
