Good news to all smartphone and gadget enthusiast as new updates for the Asus ZenFone 2 have been revealed, with its new accessories, price details and release date.
According to Android Central, Asus has announced two new accessories for the Asus Zenfone 2's 13MP PixelMaster camera, and these are the ZenFlash and the Lolliflash. Android Central explained that the ZenFlash has a Xenon flash dongle that connects to the ZenFone 2 via USB OTG, which Asus claimed that it can create "400 times" stronger flash for pictures.
The Lolliflash is a dual-tone LED torch that has a built-in battery and connects to the handet via the headphone jack. It comes in three variant colors such as red, blue and yellow and its simple design can be used to other devices aside from the Asus smartphone.
So far, Asus has not given any other information regarding these accessories.
GSM Arena previously reported that Asus ZenFone 2 has a quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor clocked at 2.33 GHz, which makes it compatible to a 64-bit architecture, and its GPU is the PowerVR Rogue G6430.
The Christian Post has reported that the Asus ZenFone 2 has two variants. The first variant is equipped with a 5-inch display, while the second variant has a bigger display at 5.5 inches. Both displays are in Full HD that renders a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with a 403 ppi pixel density.
The Christian Post adds that the Asus handset is equipped with a LTE Cat 4 modem that can give 150 and 50 Mbps download and upload speed, It also has three variants of internal storage; 13, 32, and64 GB. Its software runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop and has a battery capacity of 3,000mAh.
The Asus ZenFone 2 will launch on the second quarter of 2015 and here is the prices of all ZenFone 2 variants and modes: the Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML 4GB version is at $285, while the 2GB version of it is at $220. Other versions of the Asus smartphone includes the ZE550ML ($190), and the ZE500CL ($160).
