After teasing the new Chromebook Pixel for a long time, the search engine giant finally launched an update Chromebook laptop.
The search engine giant yanked the original Chromebook Pixel on Wednesday, March 11 as its successor; the new Chromebook Pixel has arrived. The new Chromebook Pixel sports a similar boxy design as its predecessor; however some astonishing improvements have been made under the hood.
According to Google Blog post, the company has created a new online Google Store where users can not only order the uber cool Chromebook Pixel, but also other devices made with Google, all in one place.
PC Mag noted some notable similarities between the new Chromebook Pixel and Apple's new MacBook.
So the big question here is how do they compare to one another?
Back in 2013, when Google first announced the Google Chromebook Pixel, many users were off put citing the lack of local storage as well as traditional software support. Some were disappointed as the pricey Pixel did not fit in a family of budget Chromebooks define by sub $400 prices.

Google joined forces with some of the biggest names in the industry in order to create a new standard for charging, called USB Type C. With more Chromebooks and Android devices slated to feature this new standard, the Pixel is one of the first products with the USB Type C standard for charging.

The new Chromebook sports a high-resolution touchscreen, a sleek aluminum body as well as a smooth glass trackpad. In addition, it includes a new wide-angle camera lens besides other new enhancements.

Users can shop Chromecast and Chromebooks, Nexus phones and tablets at the Google Store. In the wake of new product being added to the family, Google made it easier for users to learn more about them as it launched the Google Store on Wednesday, March 11.
According to the Google Blog post by Andrew Bowers, Director of Consumer Hardware, users can learn more about newer technology such as Nest, Nexus Player and Android Wear, and stock up on accessories like chargers, cases and keyboards.
Chromebook Pixel is available for purchase in the United States since March 11 on the Google Store for $999 while the LS version is available for $1299.
