No more taking down bad guys for "Taken" star Liam Neeson, who suddenly found himself thrust as an action star because of his "particular set of skills."

In an interview with The Guardian, the 63-year-old actor hinted that age might be catching up to him.

"Maybe two more years. If God spares me and I'm healthy, but after that, I'll stop [the action] I think," he said.

"I'm in a very, career-wise, great place. The success of certainly the 'Taken' films, Hollywood seems to see me in a different light. I get sent quite a few action-oriented scripts, which is great. I'm not knocking it. It's very flattering. But there is a limit, of course," he said.

It would indeed be bad news for producers seeing that the "Taken" franchise has done pretty well at the box office.

The first movie, released in 2009, raked in $145 million at the box office on a budget of just $25 million, said Box Office Mojo. The second still did fairly well even on a higher budget of $45 million and a gross total of almost $140 million.

The third film, however, did not breach the $100 million mark on a budget of $48 million.

According to The Guardian, the success of the "Taken" franchise led to a number of action films for Liam Neeson including the remake of "A-Team" as well as the high-altitude thriller "Non-Stop."

Among his other movies included "improbable board game adaptation 'Battleship,' and moody crime drama 'A Walk Among the Tombstones,'" the publication said. "'Run All Night' also treads similar ground to Taken, with Neeson on a mission to protect his son from a mobster played by Ed Harris."

"Taken" star Liam Neeson also told USA Today in a previous interview that there's a limit to what he can do. "If I feel audiences saying, 'Come on, he's 62, enough is enough,' I'm very sensitive to that and if I pick up that vibe it will all stop. And I'll start playing dads or grandfathers."
