Model Dakota Johnson channeled her "Fifty Shades of Grey" character Anastasia Steele as she was snapped in a "geeky" outfit as she arrived in the Big Apple over the weekend.
"The actress was sporting a little geek chic as she arrived in New York on Saturday, with a pair of dark-rimmed glasses," said Mirror. "Dakota, who had a police escort at the airport, wore an over-sized blazer and a teal chunky knit jumper for her flight with a pair of black skinny jeans."
The publication noted that Dakota Johnson might not be prepared for the cameras that waited for her at the airport because she was far from glamorous, or she simply didn't care.
Later, however, the "Fifty Shades of Grey" star looked more like a celebrity as she arrived at the Los Angeles Airport from New York City.
Dakota Johnson was wearing dark sunglasses, a gray coat and a white shirt underneath. She opted for a more casual look, however, as she completed the ensemble with black skinny jeans and Adidas sneakers.
"The 25-year-old actress looked great when X17 photographers snapped her photo," said X17. "Perhaps her chipper mood had something to do with the fact that she is currently negotiating a massive raise for her role in the sequel to 'Fifty Shades of Grey?'"
It's reported earlier that Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are set to get a big payday in the sequel to the highly successful "Fifty Shades of Grey."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 32-year-old actor and the 25-year-old model are expected to renegotiate their contracts to secure a hefty raise.
Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson signed a three-picture deal for "Fifty Shades of Grey" and reportedy earned $250,000 each for the first movie. However, a renegotiation in payment is standard practice if the film does well in the box-office.
