A new photo has been leaked online in China and it is reported as a smaller version of Huawei Ascend Mate 7, cite GSM Arena.
The site wrote that the image about the device allegedly shows a unique feature, which has a touch-sensitive area on the back that features a built-in 'invisible' fingerprint sensor.
The GSM Dome added that the only leaked spec that accompanies the shots of Huawei Ascend Mate 7 Mini is the screen size, which will be 4.7-inch.
As of this writing, there are no details yet about the release date and specs of the device. But reports said that given the name, it might be a smaller version of the Huawei Ascend Mate 7.
According to Huawei official website, the Ascend Mate 7 has a 6.0-inch FHD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and ppi of 368. It has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for screen protection and Emotion UI 3.0.
Under the hood, the Huawe Ascend Mate 7 runs on HiSilicon Kirin 925 processor with a CPU of quad-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A15 and quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7. The handset has a 2 GB of RAM and a Mali-T628 GPU.
As for the operating system, Android v4.4.2 KitKat with Huawei Emotion UI 3.0. When it comes to storage capacity, the smartphone has 16 and 32GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 128 GB via memory card.
In terms of camera, the device has a 13MP rear camera with 18080p video recording, LED flash, autofocus and other features such as high dynamic range mode, Geo tagging and others. The handset has a 5MP HD front camera with 720p.
The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 has a non-removable Li-Po 4100 mAh battery that can stand by up to 648 hours on 3G.
Other features of the device include a 360 fingerprint sensor located at the back of the smartphone. Using the feature, the device recognized automatically the fingerprint of the user without the need to unlock or press any other buttons.
