The Chinese company Huawei has announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona that it will launch the Honor 6 Plus. On March 16 the company confirmed that it will launch the said device in India next week.
The GSM Arena reported that Huawei Honor 6 Plus will be available in India on March 24 Tuesday and it will be exclusively offered by Flipkart.
The company has not revealed the pricing information of the Huawei Honor 6 Plus but in China it retails for CNY 1,999 which is about INR 20,000.
The Huawei Honor 6 Plus was announced in December last year and it has a 5.5-inch LTPS display with a ppi of 401. The said device has a 10-finger multi-touch, cite Fone Arena.
Under the hood, the Huawei Honor 6 Plus runs on HiSilicon Kirin 925 processor with i3 low-power sensor and a CPU of quad-core Cortex-A15 and quad-core Cortex-A7. It has a 3 GB of RAM and a Mali-T628 MP4 GPU.
As for the internal storage, the device has 16GB for the 3G model and two variants of the LTE model which are 16 and 32GB respectively and can be expanded up to 128GB via memory card. When it comes to the operating system, the handset runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Emotion UI 3.0.
Furthermore, the Huawei Honor 6 Plus ha a dual 8MP rear camera with F2.0 aperture, dual LED flash and other features such as high dynamic range mode, face detection, Geo tagging and touch focus. On the other hand, the device's front-facing camera has 8MP with F2.4 apertures, 5P lens and Sony BSI sensor.
The smartphone has a 3,600 mAh battery and an IR Blaster so the phone can be used as a remote control. It has also feature one nano SIM slot and one micro SIM slot. The Huawei Honor 6 Plus supports a 4G LTE Cat6 that can be able to download speeds as fast as 300Mbps.
