Good news gaming fans as new gameplay details and updates for Atlus' new Persona title, "Persona 5" have been revealed along with its current development.
According to Explosion.com, Atlus has updated the official Japanese website of "Persona 5" as the update contains several screenshots from the game that were not seen in its official trailer.
As clearly seen in the photos, the main character utilizes magic attacks during battles, explores the shadow world through rooftops and using stealth in certain situations.
Gematsu previously reported that a new feature called "Cooperation" will act as the social link, and "Sneak" allows players to use stealth in missions. There are also returning game features from previous titles such as "Lesson" and "All-Out-Attack".
Explosion further adds that "Persona 5" will feature several dungeons with plenty of gimmicks and challenges.
"Persona 5" director Katsura Hashino talked about the game's current development during an interview with Gaming Bolt.
"It's been a massive outpouring and we're really happy to see people are into it as much as they are. It's a huge relief to all of us on the team to have things turn out that way. Still, it's also indicative that the anticipation is running really high among people who have enjoyed our work up until now, so it's not without some pressure coming our way, too," Hashino said to Gaming Bolt.
Hashino further explain his goal in making "Persona 5" for gaming fans across the world.
"One of the goals in making 'Persona 5', then, is to give those people an outlet to explore those thrills and experience that sense of freedom that the protagonists themselves have within the context of a game. Although that being said, I won't deny that a lot of us were also just way into stories about good-natured thieves like Lupin III growing up, too," Hashino told Venture Capital Post.
Crossmaps has reported that "Persona 5" will launch in Spring 2015 for the PS3 and PS4 consoles, while Product Review.net claimed that Atlus will announce more details of the game at E3 2015.
