Gionee has unveiled the Elife S7 at the Mobile World Congress and now the Chinese company disclosed that the smartphone is scheduled to launch in India next month, cite the India Today.
The site wrote that the company is already sending out formal invites for a media event on April 3 about the Gionee Elife S7.
The Gionee Elifes S7 is one of thinnest dual-SIM smartphones and has been constructed using a U-shape skeleton with an aviation level alloy for its frame. The said device has been crafted using a nano-molding plastic.
According to GSM Arena, the Gionee Elife S7 has a 5.5mm that features a 5.2-inch SUPER AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 and 424 ppi.
The device is powered by a 64-bit Mediatek MT6752 SoC with 2 GB of RAM and a Mali-T760 MP2 GPU. The handset has a new Sensor Hub integrated to the SoC in order to conserve CPU usage and use less power.
The Gionee Elife S7 has a 16 GB internal storage but it does not offer a memory card slot. When it comes to the operating system, the device runs on Android v5.0 Lollipop with the company's Amigo 3.0 UI.
In terms of camera, the phone has a 13MP rear camera with features such as autofocus, LED flash, Geo tagging, panorama and high dynamic range mode, while it has an 8MP front camera can take videos at 1080 pixels at 30 fps.
As for the battery, the Gionee Elife S7 has a 2,750 mAh battery and is said to also support two 4G sims at the same time. The handset comes in colors North Pole White, Los Angeles, and Maldives Blue.
Connectivity options of Gionee Elifes S7 include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS or A-GPS, USB OTG and FM radio.
Meanwhile, the Chinese company has not yet revealed the price of the device.
