Good news gaming fans as the release date for Square Enix's upcoming "Final Fantasy XV" has been revealed, along with new game details and summons.
PlayStation Blog has posted before the official list of games that are present this year, and as it turns out, "Final Fantasy XV" is not present in the list. This debunked the claim from retailing website Amazon.com that "FFXV" will be released on Dec.31, 2015 for PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
But Cyberland reportedly claimed that "Final Fantasy XV" will launch on May 2016 as Square Enix will likely announce new details regarding the game's development at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 on June 16-18.
"My sources tell me that it can be confirmed that FFXV will be available on May 2016. Square Enix would use E3 to build hype for the game and they would wait a few more months to get hype boiling similar to what Rocksteady is doing to the Arkham Knight right now," Cyberland reports.
Game director Hajime Tabata told IGN before that "Final Fantasy XV" is 60 percent finish in its development.
“It’s about 60% now. People may look at that and say ‘well, you’ve only done five more percent!’ [since 55% in September] but it’s actually a lot more complicated than that,” Tabata said to IGN. “I think we’re looking at a much faster development in the near future."
It is likely due to Square Enix's partnership with Taiwanese based company XPEC as Tabata explained that it was necessary due the large scale of the project and XPEC has the technology to finish the second part of the game.
The "FFXV: Episode Duscaue" has been already out and fans gain positive response to the demo due to a gameplay video that feature players summoning Ramuh.
Aside from Ramuh, there are also other summons that rumored to join the game as YouTube user name "Asleep in the Fantasy" claim that Leviathan, Ifrit, Bahamut, and Fenrir are the being considered in "Final Fantasy XV".
