Samsung Philippines has disclosed a new update on Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge price and the release date of the smartphones.
The Sam Mobile reported that the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will be available in the Philippines starting on April 18, which is just a week after the company releases the devices in 20 countries in April 10.
The site wrote that Samsung Galaxy S6 will be available in 32GB and 64GB models that come with dual-SIM support for 35,990 and 41,900 Philippines peso, which are roughly around $800 and $934. Also, 32GB model of Galaxy S6 will only be offered in gold, while the 64GB will be available in white pearl, gold platinum, black sapphire and blue topaz.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will also be available in both 32GB and 64GB variants. The device is priced at 41,990 and 47,990 respectively, which is around $934 and $1067.

According to GSM Arena, both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge have a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, with the same resolution of 1440 x 2560 and ppi of 577. The devices have a Corning Gorilla Glass and TouchWiz UI.
Other specs of the devices include an Exynos 7420 processor with a CPU of quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57. Both have a Mali-T670 GPU with 3 GB of RAM and storage variants of 32, 64 and 128GB respectively.
As for the camera, both handsets have 16MP rear camera with LED flash, optical image stabilization, face detection, auto real-time HDR and other photography features. When it comes to front-facing camera, the devices have 5MP with features such as auto HDR with 120 wide angle lens that can let user to capture an image with an exceptional clarity.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 runs on Android v5.0.2 Lollipop operating system with a 2,550 mAh battery life.
