Samsung's latest smartphones which are the Galaxy S6 Edge and S6 are now available for pre-order in the U.K.
The GSM Arena reported that U.K. customers who are interested in getting the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and S6 can pre-order in EE. The carrier offers Black Sapphire or White Pearl Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge on the launch day, which is scheduled on April 10. However, the Gold Platinum version will be available sometime this year.
The publication wrote that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge 64GB variant is available at £49.99 upfront and £54.49 a month with 20GB of 4G data. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S6 32GB starts at £49.99 upfront and £43.49 a month for 4GB of 4G data.
Furthermore, Carphone Warehouse is also offering the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, the 128GB is at £220 upfront and £48.50 a month, while the 64GB model is at £160 upfront and £43.50 a month.
On Samsung's official website, the Galaxy S6 Edge has 5.1-inch quad HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 which translates into 577 ppi. The device has a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for screen protection with TouchWiz UI.
Under the hood, the smartphone runs on an Exynos 7420 processor and a CPU of quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-153 and quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57. It has a Mali-T670 GPU and run on Android v5.0.2 Lollipop operating system, as GSM Arena reported.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has 3 GB of RAM with storage variants of 32, 64, 128GB respectively.
Other specs include a 5MP front camera with 120 wide angle lens and 16MP rear camera that features autofocus, LED flash, optical image stabilization, face detection, Geo tagging and auto real-time high dynamic range.
AS for the battery, the Galaxy S6 Edge has a 2,600 mAh and available in different colors such as white pearl, gold platinum, green emerald and more.
