The Chinese company OnePlus has disclosed that OnePlus One will be available in India on Amazon.
The GSM Arena reported that OnePlus will be on sale on Amazon starting 10am on Tuesday, March 24 with no invites required, but the supply of the device will be limited.
The site wrote that the said date coincides with the OnePlus' weekly no-invite sale that happens every Tuesday.
On the Amazon's official website, the OnePlus One in India will be priced at INR18,999 or roughly around $350 for the 16GB White Silk model, while the 64GB Sandstone Black model is priced at INR21,999 which is around $355.
The OnePlus One has 5.5-inch Full HD JDI screen with LTPS IPS with TOL technology for a higher pixel and sharper picture. The IPS screen responds to the slightest touch with TOL or Touch On Lens technology that removes the distance between the display panel and touch sensor. The device has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels which translates into 401 ppi.
Under the hood, the OnePlus One runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz quad-core. The chipset has many components for incredible speed and power efficiency such as integrated 4G LTE connectivity, the custom Krait CPU architecture for sustained peak performance and Adreno 330 GPU.
The handset 16 and 64GB of internal memory with 3GB of LP-DDR3 RAM running at 1866MHz that allows multitasking even the most demanding apps.
The OnePlus One that is based on Android 4.4 operating system has a 13MP Sony Exmor IMX214 rear camera with f/2.0 aperture. The company claims that the smartphone's camera boasts six physical lenses and photos will be detailed without suffering from distortion that often caused by lower apertures. The handset has 5MP front camera and can take videos at 1080p@30fps.
The OnePlus One has a 3100 mAh battery and the energy efficient display features CABC and DRAM or Display RAM technology, which adjust the level of backlight. The said technologies can reduce the power being consumed.
