Dakota Johnson has been on the defensive about the allegations of "Fifty Shades of Grey" perpetrating abuse of women.

In an interview with TV2's Kjersti Flaa, she was asked whether Anastasia Steele was a victim of abuse by the protagonist Christian Grey.

"I think that is an uneducated opinion," she said per Daily Mail. "Maybe because I know more about the BDSM world, so it makes sense to me, but everything that these characters do, they make the decision to do it."

"Christian doesn't abuse Ana. She's not a victim. She's not a sad, weak-minded, passive person," she added. "She's strong and confident and is exploring her body and her sexuality in a private environment with somebody that she loves. And, you know, it's a movie."

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, producer Dana Brunetti appeared to frown upon the reports that both Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan wanting a big raise for the sequel to "Fifty Shades of Grey."

"Look, when I was starting out and had to cut my teeth and build my résumé to get in, I had to basically work for free on a lot of things. I still take reductions in my fees for the opportunities to do certain things," he said.

"We got slack on 'Captain Phillips' about how much Barkhad [Abdi] and those guys got paid. Look at Jonah Hill in 'Wolf of Wall Street.' It was great for his career."

"So I'm not going to cry for anybody who wants to be in this business just because a thing they were involved in did very well and they didn't get paid [a lot]. That's not the deal that you made. If it was, I'd have more than a couple Ferraris because all the money my films have made is f-ing insane. You've got to start somewhere," the producer added.

Meanwhile, Dakota Johnson took time off from all the hype surrounding the "Fifty Shades of Grey" by going sunbathing with mother Melanie Griffith and Kris Jenner in Cancun recently.

"The ladies caught some sun in barely-there bikinis while lounging on the beach," OK! Magazine said. "Jenner 'acted shy' when she noticed the paparazzi was photographing the trio, though it doesn't seem to have affected her mood."

"Fifty Shades of Grey" actress Dakota Johnson, meanwhile, wore a white bikini which "nearly matched her alabaster skin."
