Good news gaming fans as the release date for "Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition" has been revealed along with speculations of another "Devil May Cry" sequel this year.
Capcom has began streaming a new trailer for "Devil May 4: Special Editions" which features new playable characters, game features and many more.
The trailer features three new playable characters as players can now play Trish, Lady and Vergil in the game. The PlayStation Blog commented that many gamers anticipate the return of Dante's twin brother in the game as the website quoted that"his appearance in Special Edition, we’ve used his "Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition" rendition as a gameplay foundation, and added in elements of his DmC rendition to create the definitive version of the character."
The PlayStation Blog further explained that there are new improvements for Vergil in "Devil May Cry 4" such as the "Grim Trick" ability, which allows him to teleport using his “Sword Illusions and “Concentration” that makes him stronger in each fight the more calm and flawless his attacks can deliver.
Aside from Vergil, PC Gamer also explained Trish and Lady's skills in the game. Trish's controls in the game are not as complicated as Dante and Nero, which makes her easy to play around. Lady on the other hand focuses more long range attacks and has a variety of guns to use against enemies.
Other game features in "Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition" includes "Legendary Dark Knight" mode, a frame rate of 1080p at 60fps, new costumes and many more. "DMC 4: Special Edition" was first hinted at the end of "DmC: Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition" trailer.
Capcom will be releasing two Devil May Cry games this year as there are rumors making rounds that "Devil May Cry 5" is in the works this year.
KpopStarz reportedly claimed that Capcom is working on "Devil May Cry 5" this year and Ninja Theory will not be able to work on the game because they are working on "Hellblade".
"Capcom reportedly confirmed that Devil May Cry 5 would be ready for 2015 but Ninja Theory reportedly said they won't be working on a sequel to the Devil May Cry reboot due to continued work on their new IP, Hellblade," KpopStarz wrote.
KpopStarz also revealed a small plot detail for "DMC 5" as an older Nero will star in the game searching for Dante after the events of "Devil May Cry 2."
Attack of the Fanboy reports that "Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition" will launch in Japan on June 18 for the PS4 and Xbox One, and in June 24 for the PC.
While another report from Cyberland claimed that "DMC 4" will be released on July 23, 2015 although it did not state whether this could be the U.S. release of the game.
