Looks like good news for the Spice Girls as Emma Bunton hinted a sensational return of the famous girl band.

British pop girl group, Spice Girls will celebrate two full decades since the release of their debut single "Wannabe" next year.

According to Mirror, former Baby Spice, Emma Bunton hinted at a potential Spice Girls reunion. Bunton herself has accepted that she'd love to get the band back together. Bunton revealed that she recently met up with Mel B and Geri Halliwell.

With 2016 marking the twentieth anniversary of their breakthrough hit "Wannabe," it would be a fitting time to reform for a big celebration.

DigitalSpy noted that Bunton last year suggested that no reunion was in the pipeline at the time; however she looked more optimistic this week. Bunton said she was with Mel B and Geri recently.

"We love each other and we love performing together," the Daily Star quoted her saying.

Bunton admitted since they all have their own careers now as well as families, it's simply about getting five schedules together and that's all it is.

Daily Star notes the possibility of unreleased Spice Girls tracks being made officially available in the wake of numerous demos leaked online months ago. Bunton did admit that Spice Girls recorded lots of songs that public have never heard.

However, the singer teased saying she can't really talk about those.

Bunton's confidence about a Spice Girls reunion reflects comments made by bandmate Mel B in 2014, who hinted at a possibility of a celebration of some kind in 2016.

The Spice Girls scored nine No. 1 singles with over 60 million album sold. They last performed together at the 2012 Summer Olympics closing ceremony in London and also gathered together again for the launch of their musical "Viva Forever" that Dec.
