Good news to all Apple users and gadget enthusiast as new updates for the iPhone 7 have been revealed regarding new features, and possible release date.

Apple has revealed two new features that are rumored to be available in the upcoming iPhone 7. According to News Everyday, the iPhone 7 will be equipped with the Apple Sim similar to the iPad Air 2 tablet. The Apple Sim allows consumers to sign up for mobile data plans from any participating carrier directly from the Settings app without long-term contracts and to switch providers at any time," Apple Insider reports.

Aside from the Apple Sim, MacWorld reportedly claimed that the iPhone 7 will have a "Joystick" style home buttons which can be used for games. While essentially a good idea from the start, MacWorld explained that the concept might not work due to the history Apple having home button breakage.

"Gamers remain only one section of the iPhone's audience, and it seems like a risky idea to potentially compromise the resilience of everyone's iPhone Home button (which has famously been very prone to breakage in the past) for a feature that would benefit only some users," MacWorld wrote.

The Christian Post previously claimed that the iPhone 7 will incorporate Force Touch technology similar to the Apple Watch and the new MacBook. The Force Touch measures how hard a user presses on the screen, and helps developers reduce the number of on-screen buttons that are visible on many games.

As for the release date, Value Walk reportedly claimed that the iPhone 7's launch date has been moved to 2016; however, the company did not make any official statement regarding the change of its release date.

The Fuse Joplin previously reported that the iPhone 7 will launch on Sept. 9, 2015, while the Latino Post claim the device is set on Sept 7, along with the iPhone 6S. The iPhone 7 will cost around $649 or more.
