Good news gaming fans as a new trailer for "Mortal Kombat X" has been revealed and it features the return of another "Klassic" character along with other possible fighters in the franchise.

IGN has reported that a new "Mortal Kombat X" trailer has been streamed for the Russian outlet as it shows the return of the shaolin warrior Liu Kang.

The trailer starts with Raiden talking to Bo' Rai Cho about losing both Liu Kang and Kung Lao to the forces of Nether realm. It was during the events of the previous "Mortal Kombat" video game in 2009 that Raiden killed Liu Kang to stop the apocalypse from happening in Earth Realm.

The trailer shows that Liu Kang has been resurrected by dark sorcerer Quan Chi and has join Nether Realm's side along with a resurrected Kung Lao.

Liu Kang has been heavily rumored to join "Mortal Kombat X's" roster in a report from Attack of The Fanboy, and now all of the rumors about him have been answered. It was claimed that Bo' Rai Cho could be a playable character in the future now that he is present in Liu Kang's trailer.

Test Your Might reportedly claimed that Shinnok and Baraka will be part of the roster, while Cyrax, Smoke, Rain, Stryker and Kabal will appear in the game as assist moves.

Gamerant previously reported that NetherRealm Studios revealed a full list of "Mortal Kombat X's" DLC packs after the release of their latest trailer featuring Jason Voorhees, Tanya, Tremor and the Predator.

"Mortal Kombat X" will be available on April 14 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, while the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will launch in summer 2015 .
