LG Starts Global Rollouts Of Joy, Leon, Magna And Spirit; When Will It Be Available?

The LG officially unveiled in February the company's latest smartphones, which are Joy, Leon, Magna and Spirit, and recently LG disclosed the global rollout of the said devices, cite GSM Arena.

The Magna, Leon and Spirit will be available in 3G or LTE variants and all four smartphones feature a Glance View that allows the user to swipe down from the top of the screen while the screen is off.

"LG's new mid-range collection continues our legacy of offering amazing smartphones at reasonable prices," said the president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company Juno Cho on LG Newsroom.

According to Android Central, the global rollout will start in South America, followed closely by Europe, Asia, Middle East Africa and North America.

Moreover, the LG Joy has 4.0-inch WVGA display and run on Android 4.4 KitKat with a dual-core CPU is packed in the said device along with 4 GB storage and 512 MB RAM. The Joy has a 5MP rear camera and a VGA camera in the front with 1,900 mAh battery.

The LG Magna has a 5-inch 720p display with 8MP rear caner, 5MP front camera, 1 GB RAM and 8GB ROM. The handset runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with LG UI and has a 2,540 mAh battery. It has a 1.3 GHz quad-core CPU and a 21MBps HSPA+ network connectivity. The LTE model has 1.2GHz quad-core CPU with Cat. 4 LTE.

The LG Leon has a 4.5-inch FWGA display and has the same SoC options and network chips for LTE or 3G models. Other specs include VGA front camera and 1,900 mAh battery. The LTE model has 18GB storage, 1GB RAM and a 5MP rear camera, while the 3G variant has 1GB RAM, 8GB or 4GB storage and 8MP or 5MP rear camera options.

Meanwhile, the LG Spirit has similar hardware as to Magna with a 4.7-inch display, 2,100 mAh battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. The device has a 5MP rear camera and 1MP front camera.

As of this writing, the Korean company has not yet revealed the availability and pricing of the mid-range smartphones.
