As the fight of the millennium between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao is fast approaching, the Filipino fighter skipped his training on Saturday.

The USA Today reported that Pacquiao did not do his normal Sunday run at Pan Pacific Park. Pacman's conditioning coach Justin Fortune said that Manny will not be able to run and they do it for a reason, but did not say what particularly the reason about it.

"I would like him to get up and move around at least, get out the stiffness from the work we have been doing, he is not going to run, but we will make up for it with the work we do later," said Fortune.

"I make it hard for him, but he needs to suck it up, fighting Mayweather is not easy either, there are always consequences," he added.

Furthermore, the training staff of Manny Pacquiao's is confident that Manny is in good shape and he can defeat Mayweather.

Roach added that the Filipino fighter in about two to three weeks is ready to fight the American fighter and will it with a 47-1 record of Mayweather.

Moreover, his running partner Rodel Mayol a former WBC world champion said that Pacman's runs has full of spirit and intensity.

"I see he doesn't get tired, not like before he fought (Chris) Algeiri, (Shane) Mosley, Juan Manuel Marquez - then he took it easy, this time he is very motivated," said Mayol.

It was reported last week that Pacquiao's camp has denied that report that Pacquiao is suffering from a bad leg cramp.

The local media outlet in the Philippines GMA News reported that Manny Pacquiao is not suffering from a severe leg cramp during his training.

Coach Freddie Roach said that the camp did a scan on the Filipino fighter and the result is good.
