Good news Marvel fans as new updates for "Avengers: Age of Ultron" have been revealed regarding Andy Serkis role in the film, and a rumored appearance of an infinity stone in the movie.
According to Screenrant, Serkis has confirmed his role as the Marvel villain Ulysses Klaw or "Klaw" in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" in an interview with Empire during the 2015 Jameson Empire Awards.
During the interview, Serkis said that Klaw's appearance in the movie is short as he quotes,“It was really minimal. It’s a tiny role, a little cameo role. But I just loved doing it and it’s a great character.”
Although his appearance may have been short, Screenrant adds that he might play a bigger part in the movie's plot. In a previous report by Screenrant two weeks ago, Ultron will be undergoing a series of upgrades to his robotic body, from its basic form to his "prime" self.
The website claimed that his whole body might be coated in Vibranium, a fictional metal in the main Marvel universe that can absorb any type of energy. The Vabranium metal is found in the fictional country of Wakanda where T'Challa a.k.a. The Black Panther leaves.
In the Marvel comics, Klaw is a scientist who tries his luck finding Vibranium in Wakanda as he successfully manufactured the metal into a sonic weapon. Klaw is also the arch-enemy of the T'Challa as he is responsible for killing his father, the current king of Wakanda and his predecessor to the Black Panther mantle before him.
Marvel fans are led to believe that Klaw's cameo and Vibranium reference could be basis for the "Black Panther" film in phase 3, but Serkis admitted that he has no idea if he would appear in the movie.
“That, I know nothing about. I truly don’t know anything about that,” Serkis told Empire.
Meanwhile, there are rumors making rounds that an infinity stone will make its presence known in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" film.
According to ComicBook.com, a theory about Paul Bettany's new character The Vision claims that the glowing crystal in his head is likely to be the "Soul Gem". In the mainstream comics, Adam Warlock was the one who possessed the soul gem on his forehead rather than Vision.
Three infinity stones have been already found in the Marvel Cinematic and these are the Tesseract (Space Gem), the Aeither (Reality Gem) and the Orb ( Power Gem).
ComicBook.com further adds that Loki's scepter is rumored to be the Mind Gem, while the Time Gem is found in Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet during the "Avengers: Infinity War" teaser.
"Avengers: Age of Ultron" will hit theaters on May 1, 2015.
