It looks like the release date for the iOS 8.2 jailbreak version will be announced soon along with its new features and specs.
According to the Christian Post, the release date for the Apple iOS 8.2 jailbreak version will be announced the Mobile Security Summit 2015 in Beijing, China as Chinese jailbreak Team TaiG is working on cracking the software.
However, the Fuse Joplin reports that the announcement did not happen as TaiG team posted a message saying that the that the development of the jailbreak tool is “constrained by many factors” and they’re hoping to release an iOS 8.2 jailbreak “as soon as they can”.
The website adds that the event does not assure the jailbreak will be available. With alot of jailbreaker groups such as P0sixninja, Comex and Evad3rs present in the event, there could be something in the works as Apple users were hopeful to see either iOS 8.1.3 or iOS 8.2 jailbreak reveal.
Jailbreak developer MuscleNerd warned the users of the upcoming iOS 8.2 jailbreak saying, "Jailbreakers stay away from today's 8.2 update for now, or you will get burned."
Apple hosted a launch program for its newest Apple Watch on March 9, where the company revealed the release date of the iOS 8.2 update.
International Business Time previously reported that several loopholes were found on two beta versions of iOS 8.2 as TaiG patched the problems with the release of the final version of iOS 8.2 in a post from iJailbreak.
As for the new features and specs for the iOS 8.2, The Fuse Joplin has reported that stability and augmentation of every Apple device are given to five main areas; Mail, Flyover in Maps, Music, VoiceOver Reliability and Hearing Aids connectivity for iPhone models.
The second upgrade is an updated Health App as the Fuse Joplin reports that several issues in the App were found such as interchangeability between units of measurement for distance, weight, height, temperature, and blood glucose.
Several of the fixed bugs were those that affect the users' programs, data networks, security and functionality (force restart). The security fix is said to have been addressed by Apple regarding “A person with physical access to the device may be able to see the home screen of the device even if the device is not activated.”
